Portable and convenient operation

Aerotel Ltd.

Aerotel Ltd., based in Holon, Israel, was founded in 1985 by Eli Nhaissi, a serial entrepreneur and the late Zvi Kamil (1930-2009), a renowned Israeli nuclear physicist. It is comprised of Aerotel Inc., Aerotel USA, Inc. and Aerotel Medical Systems, Ltd.

Aerotel USA,Inc.

Aerotel Inc., with teams in the U.S. and Israel, is the company’s center of excellence for R&D and clinical investigations into the use of Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field (PEMF) technology to treat various diseases and pathologies including but not limited to movement disorders such as Essential Tremors (ET) and Parkinson’s disease (PD).

Aerotel Medical Systems, Ltd.

Aerotel Medical Systems, Ltd., based in Holon, Israel, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of 12-lead, hospital-grade modular, mobile and home-based telemedical products which enable new healthcare delivery channels, contain and reduce costs and ultimately, save lives.

The Most Advanced Technology

Aerotel has assembled a team of scientific advisors guiding it in the research required to validate its hypotheses on how its technologies can be applied to relieve various conditions and pathologies which are today, threatening the health and well-being of the world’s population.

Aerotel Ltd.’s unique, patented PEMF technology

Aerotel Ltd.’s unique, patented PEMF technology (U.S. patent #10,092,769 B2) enables its products to deliver low-intensity, non-ionized, non-thermal therapy. They generate low frequency magnetic fields which penetrate deeply into the body to reach most targeted organs, a level of penetration previously requiring the use of costly, stationary (non-portable) PEMF devices generating much stronger magnetic fields. And because our technology generates weak magnetic fields, it can be built into palm-sized, lithium battery powered portable units which can be used virtually anywhere and anytime.

The vision of co-founder Zvi Kamil

The late Zvi Kamil, an Aerotel co-founder, was a gifted nuclear physicist who helped develop pioneering MRI and CAT scan technologies for Elscint, a company subsequently purchased by General Electric.
Early in his career, Mr. Kamil pioneered break-through prepaid telephone payment processing systems having invented and patented the proprietary technology licensed by telecom giants AT&T, Verizon, Japan’s NTT Docomo and others. He also served as the chairman of Israel’s Committee for Public Safety working hand-in-hand with the Atomic Energy Commission to oversee activities at Israel’s Dimona and Nahal Sorek nuclear reactors. His decisions had ramifications for the health and safety of millions.
Mr. Kamil attended Israel’s Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) and later studied nuclear physics in Chicago and Paris. The story is told that Zvi was one of the first to score 100 on the Technion’s admission exam. In disbelief, his proctors asked him to take the test again but this time, in their presence. He again answered every question correctly! He was a very gifted man.

Aerotel’s leading scientific advisors

Professor Mickey Scheinowitz

Prof. Scheinowitz, Aerotel’s chief scientist, is an exercise and cardiovascular physiologist at Tel Aviv University (TAU) in Israel. He earned his Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Physiology from Sackler Faculty of Medicine, TAU after which, he spent two years as a post-doc fellow at the Cardiology Branch, NHLBI, NIH, in Bethesda, MD. Prof. Scheinowitz took a two-year sabbatical at Washington Hospital Center, Washington DC.

Mickey was the Chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at TAU. He also founded the BioMedical Technology Innovation program and the Sylvan Adams Sports Institute at TAU. In addition, Prof. Scheinowitz graduated the Merage Institute Business Executive Program in the U.S., and the Board of Directors Executive Program at TAU. He is co-founder of two medical technology startup companies and holds several patents. He brings extensive experience in the medical device industry.

Dr. Jacob Dagan

Jacob Dagan, Dr. Sc.& Eng., is Aerotel’s senior scientific advisor. He brings over twenty-five years of experience in management, operations, sales, finance, organizational planning and business development in a wide range of the medical device sectors. Dr. Dagan founded and managed several medical device companies and a publicly traded corporation.

In addition, he founded the Biomedical Engineering Dept. at Sheba Medical Center in Israel and was a Professor of Bio-Medical Engineering at TAU. Jacob holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Eng. & Nuclear Sciences from Israel’s Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) and a Dr. Sc. & Eng. in Bio-Medical Engineering / Nuclear Medicine from Columbia University in New York.

Active and planned clinical investigations

Aerotel Ltd. is about to launch a clinical trial investigating the effectiveness of its DCcure device on patients with Essential Tremors (ET). The study will be conducted in Rabin Medical Centre, Beilinson Campus, Petach Tikwa, Israel under the leadership of Prof. Ruth Djaldetti (M.D.), a senior, world -renowned neurologist.
